How much time is too much time dieting?
I get clients all the time who want to immediately jump into a cut, however, this is not necessarily the best option for everyone.
If you are someone who chronically diets and can’t seem to lose weight, you probably have not spent enough time eating enough of what you should be eating.
As frustrating as it may be, you need to be patient, and take a few months to fuel your body. Provide it with enough food to build muscle, recover well, etc.
Some tips during this process: - don’t weigh yourself if a changing number is going to mess with you
- focus on strength or achieving a certain fitness goal
- take the time to eat the foods you like to enjoy or take a break from measuring all your food altogether
