Recipe: Coffee Rubbed Pork Chops

Updated: Feb 22, 2023

This is a really great and different protein recipe. I'll throw this into the mix when I start to get sick of typical chicken or beef. These reheat really well in the air fryer or on a hot frying pan.

My recommendation when bulk prepping protein is to cook the protein until it is just done or slightly under-done so when you reheat it, it does not dry out.

Ingredients

8 boneless, thinly sliced pork chops

4 tablespoons fresh ground coffee

1/2 teaspoon brown sugar

1.5 tablespoons paprika

1 tablespoon chili powder

1.5 teaspoons garlic powder

1.5 teaspoons onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Salt and pepper your pork. Mix together all other spices and coffee, then apply generously to the pork. Grill until the internal temp is 145° (or 140° for bulk prep and reheat well throughout the week).

The cheater version of that whole recipe is to get the coffee rub from Trader Joe's and generously apply that to the pork. I can't always find it though which is why I ended up making my own. Enjoy !
